Privacy Policy
ScreenPulse · Last updated: October 7, 2026
ScreenPulse ("the app", "we", "us") is built with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
1. Data We Collect
We do not collect any personal data. ScreenPulse does not run analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We have no servers and no account system. We never see, transmit, or store your information.
2. Screen Time & App Usage Data
ScreenPulse uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings frameworks) to show usage insights and to block or limit apps you choose. This data is processed entirely on your device by the operating system. Apple's frameworks do not expose your raw browsing or app-usage data to us, and none of it is transmitted off your device.
On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence, the short daily comment on the Today tab is written by Apple's on-device model. Its only input is the approximate time spent in the apps you chose to track, and it is processed on your device.
3. Data Stored on Your Device
Your settings, focus sessions, selected apps, and preferences are stored only on your device, in a shared App Group container that only ScreenPulse and its own extensions (widgets, Screen Time monitor and report, shield) can access. Nothing is synced to iCloud or sent to us. Deleting the app removes this data.
4. Purchases
ScreenPulse Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details; the app only asks Apple whether your subscription is active.
5. Notifications & Exports
Reminders and summaries are scheduled locally on your device. CSV exports and shareable images are created on your device and shared only where you choose.
6. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or rent any data, because we do not collect any.
7. Children's Privacy
ScreenPulse does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
8. Third-Party Services
ScreenPulse does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection services.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
